
A "living trophy" is a trophy that moves from person to person as it is awarded again and again. It begins with an old trophy. You remove the figure at the top and make a new figure for a person that has done something wonderful. You name the award and give it to the deserving recipient, i.e. you make his or her day. Maybe someone gets a trophy for making you waffles? Maybe someone tells the best jokes? Grows the most beautiful aphid-free broccoli?

what happened to this project?
It's still going. There are 5 or 6 living trophies out there in the world, but I most of them were only sent out recently. I have received a photo of one of them, but just haven't had time to post it online yet. Soon! And maybe you'd like to start one?
